What Birdeye costs and what you get
Birdeye's pricing page shows no price; it offers a GET PRICING form and says pricing is built around outcomes, not seat counts. Third-party listings put the Starter plan at $299 per location a month, billed annually, with Growth at $349 and Dominate at $449. For that you get a platform: review requests, an AI agent that posts replies, listings, social, surveys and messaging.
The price, as far as it can be sourced
On October 14, 2026, birdeye.com/pricing listed no plan names and no prices. It says one platform, one contract, and that you pay only for what you deploy at your locations. The location field on its form starts at 1-3 locations and runs to 1000+.
CostBench, a pricing-tracking site, lists Starter at $299 per location a month, Growth at $349 and Dominate at $449, billed annually, with a Premium tier for 4+ locations on request (page last verified August 26, 2026). It builds the figures from reviews and user reports and does not say Birdeye confirmed them. SocialPilot, which sells a competing product, publishes the same three numbers. Treat all of them as what buyers report, not as Birdeye's price list. If you take the call, ask for the per-location price, the term, the renewal rule and the notice period in writing.
What the platform includes for Google reviews
Birdeye's reviews page says it brings every rating and review from every site into one place. Its review response agent, in Birdeye's words, responds in your brand voice, inside your industry rules, and posts on its own, or holds for approval; the agent page says 4- and 5-star responses publish on their own while 1- and 2-star or sensitive reviews wait for your team. Its review generation agent runs email or SMS reminders. Around that sit separate product lines for listings, social, surveys, messaging and AI search.
For an owner with one location, that is the whole point and the whole problem. You get a reply posted to Google without reading it, requests sent without sending them, and a dozen other tools, for a price quoted on a call and, by the third-party accounts we found, a term of at least a year.
Why owners look for a Birdeye alternative
Three reasons show up in the sources we could check: the price is not published and third-party figures start near $299 a month per location, the contract runs a year with a cancellation window reviewers say they missed, and the product is built for many locations.
Price you cannot see
There is no price on Birdeye's site to compare against a $75 or $99 tool. The $299 Starter figure comes from CostBench and SocialPilot, not from Birdeye, and CostBench notes that buyers negotiate. For one location that still puts the entry plan at roughly three to four times the $75 and $99 plans below, and more than six times Reviewflowz, before add-ons.
The contract and the cancellation window
Birdeye's pricing page says one contract and nothing about its length. Birdeye's TrustScore on Trustpilot was 3.1 out of 5 from 678 reviews on October 14, 2026. One reviewer there (October 8, 2026) wrote that they "missed a 90-day cancellation window" and the contract renewed; another (dated January 1, 2026) wrote that Birdeye "needed 90 days notice to cancel". CostBench describes contracts that auto-renew with a one-year minimum. We could not read Birdeye's own terms of service online, so we cannot confirm the notice period from Birdeye itself; ask for it in writing.
Built for many locations
Birdeye's pricing form groups 1-3 locations as its smallest bucket and runs to 1000+. Its pricing talk is about what you deploy at your locations. A one-location owner is buying the same platform a 300-location chain buys, and paying a per-location price set for that market.
Five alternatives with published prices for one location
NiceJob ($75 or $125 a month, no contract), Grade.us ($99), GatherUp ($99), Reviewflowz ($45 billed annually) and ReviewHand ($0 or $26). Reviewflowz and NiceJob Pro can post AI replies for you; Grade.us and GatherUp let you answer reviews from their dashboard; ReviewHand drafts replies and you post.
NiceJob: requests without a contract
Starter is $75 a month and Pro $125 a month, with no contracts, cancel anytime, and a 14-day free trial (get.nicejob.com/pricing, October 14, 2026). Starter automates review requests and follow-ups by SMS and email. AI Replies is Pro only: replies publish automatically each evening, with an optional approval mode. NiceJob says AI Replies is designed for positive reviews and most businesses write their own replies to negative ones. Minus: at $75 you get requests, not replies; the reply feature costs $125.
Grade.us: $99 for one location
The Small Business plan is $99 a month for one location, monthly or annual with 20% off annual, 14-day trial, no refunds (grade.us/home/plans, October 14, 2026). It monitors review sites and lets you respond directly to Google and Facebook reviews from one dashboard. Minus: text-message requests are an add-on on the Professional plan, so the $99 plan requests by email, and its plans page does not mention AI-drafted replies.
GatherUp: $99 with requests and AI drafts
The Small Business plan is $99 a month for one location, monthly or annual with 20% off annual, 14-day trial (gatherup.com/pricing, October 14, 2026). All plans include up to 300 SMS and 3,000 email credits per location a month, unique AI-crafted replies, in-app review responding and monitoring of 100+ sites. Minus: its pages describe in-app responding without naming Google for replies, so confirm the Google connection on the trial.
Reviewflowz: $45 a location, billed yearly
Pro is $45 per location a month, billed annually; the page shows no monthly-billed price (reviewflowz.com/pricing, October 14, 2026). It tracks new reviews on any platform, offers AI reply suggestions and can post replies automatically or hold them for approval. Review request campaigns cost extra: $5 per 1,000 emails, $5 per 100 SMS, and WhatsApp messages billed by Meta to your own Meta account. Minus: you pay for the year up front, and it is built around many review platforms (Trustpilot, G2, app stores) that a local shop may not use.
ReviewHand: $0 or $26, and you post the reply
Free is $0 for one location, 20 AI drafts a month and a weekly review check, no card. Pro is $26 a month, monthly, cancel anytime: unlimited drafts, a daily check, every new review drafted before you see it, an email with the reply ready to paste, and 1- and 2-star reviews first. Both plans include a printable QR counter card, three ready-to-send request messages with your review link, and a short link. ReviewHand reads the public listing, so there is no Google login through us. Minus, and it is the big one: ReviewHand never posts. You read the draft, one tap copies it and opens the review on Google, and you paste. Google only; no texting on your behalf; Teams tops out at ten locations.
Birdeye vs ReviewHand, side by side
Birdeye is a quote-priced platform that requests reviews and posts replies for you across many sites and many locations. ReviewHand is a $0 or $26 a month drafting tool for Google reviews that leaves the posting to you. The table shows what each does, from each vendor's own pages.

Where Birdeye is better
Birdeye posts replies without you, sends requests without you, covers review sites beyond Google, manages listings and messaging, and scales to hundreds of locations. If you need any of that, Birdeye or one of the platform alternatives above is the right kind of tool and ReviewHand is not.
What you give up by not choosing Birdeye
Hands-off replies. Birdeye's agent publishes 4- and 5-star replies on its own. With ReviewHand every reply passes through your hands, which some owners want and others do not.
Automatic requests. Birdeye sends and follows up by email or SMS. ReviewHand gives you the card, the messages and the link; you do the sending.
Every review site. Birdeye pulls in reviews from every site, in its own words. ReviewHand is Google only.
Everything else: listings sync, social posting, surveys, a messaging inbox, team roles, and the scale to run 300 locations from one screen. ReviewHand has none of it and does not plan to be that product.
When ReviewHand is the right alternative
You have one location, or a handful. Google is where your reviews live. You want to read and approve every reply, you want it in your own words, and you want to pay $0 or $26 a month without a sales call or a yearly term. If that is you, the Free plan shows you five drafts from your real reviews before you decide anything.
Questions people ask
How much does Birdeye cost for one location?
Birdeye does not publish a price; its pricing page offers a GET PRICING form. CostBench, a third-party pricing site, listed Starter at $299 per location a month billed annually (verified August 2026), and SocialPilot, a competitor, lists the same figure. Neither is confirmed by Birdeye. Ask for the per-location price in writing on the call.
Does Birdeye require an annual contract?
Birdeye's pricing page says one contract and does not state the term. Third-party listings describe a one-year minimum that auto-renews, and Trustpilot reviewers in 2026 describe a 90-day cancellation notice. We could not read Birdeye's terms of service online, so confirm the term, renewal and notice period before signing.
What is the cheapest Birdeye alternative that posts replies for me?
Of the tools we checked, Reviewflowz at $45 per location a month (billed annually) posts AI replies automatically or after approval. NiceJob does it on its $125 Pro plan, Grade.us lets you respond to Google and Facebook reviews from its dashboard at $99, and GatherUp offers in-app responding at $99. ReviewHand is cheaper at $0 or $26 but does not post; you paste the reply yourself.
Is ReviewHand a replacement for Birdeye?
Only for the Google review reply part, and only if you are fine posting each reply yourself. ReviewHand does not post replies, send requests on your behalf, cover other review sites, manage listings or messaging, or run more than ten locations. If you use those parts of Birdeye, pick one of the platform alternatives instead.
Can I leave Birdeye mid-contract?
That depends on your signed order form, not on anything public. Reviewers on Trustpilot describe being held to the full term and a 90-day notice window. Find your renewal date and notice period in your contract, send the cancellation in writing before the window closes, and keep proof.
